Andrew enjoys a broad practice but is particularly interested in environmental, administrative, and commercial matters. His priority is achieving practical and timely solutions for his clients. Andrew brings valuable experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance from his career before law.

  • Moot Court Win: During law school, Andrew was part of UVic’s winning team at the BC Law Schools Competitive Moot which focused on contract law.
  • Practical Legal Aid: During law school, Andrew also completed clinical terms at the Environmental Law Centre and The Law Centre, where he assisted and represented clients who could not afford a lawyer.
  • Environmental Management Work: Before attending law school, Andrew worked in the environment and regulatory department of a large Canadian energy company, where he gained valuable experience in environmental management, regulatory compliance, and building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities.

  • Extracurriculars: Andrew enjoys hiking, biking (mountain or gravel), freediving, and exploring the west coast with his family and their dog.
  • Volunteering: Andrew is the treasurer for his strata corporation and enjoys volunteering with other associations, when he can find the time.

During law school, Andrew won various awards including for the top mark in administrative law and contracts courses, and for overall academic excellence.

During his undergraduate degree, Andrew won various other awards including for the top upper-year undergraduate political science essay in BC.
